2. What data do we collect and why?
Contacting us
When you email us or use a contact form, we collect your contact details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If your request relates to a contract (e.g., subscription), processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Use of AI (OpenAI)
LuminaApp integrates with OpenAI services to provide AI-generated recommendations and information. While we aim to offer helpful results, the AI may occasionally generate incorrect or incomplete information. These outputs should be treated as recommendations only, not as definitive instructions or guarantees.
We are not responsible for any consequences, damages, or decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations. Users remain fully responsible for how they choose to act upon the information provided by the app.

Subscriptions & Payments
In-app purchases are processed by RevenueCat Inc. We share the minimum necessary order and payment details with them (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
LuminaApp uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how users interact with the app. This helps us improve the app's functionality and user experience (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Firebase Analytics collects the following types of data:
- Device information (device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers)
- App usage data (features used, screens viewed, time spent in the app)
- General location data (country/region level, not precise location)
- App performance data (crash reports, performance metrics)

3. Do we share your data?
We share data with the following service providers:
- Payment processing: RevenueCat Inc. and payment processors for handling in-app purchases
- Analytics: Google (Firebase Analytics) for app usage analytics and crash reporting
Some providers (like RevenueCat, payment processors, or Google) may process data outside the EU. In such cases, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards to protect your data in accordance with GDPR requirements.
4. How long do we keep your data?
- Contact data → deleted after your request is resolved (unless legal obligations require longer).
- Payment data → kept as long as required by tax and accounting laws.
- Analytics data → retained by Firebase Analytics according to Google's data retention policies (typically up to 14 months for standard analytics data).

6. Children's Privacy
LuminaApp is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the app and on our website.

LuminaApp processes data to handle payments, reply to your requests, and improve the app through analytics. All data is handled securely and in accordance with GDPR. You stay in full control of your data.
